I’m on my 3rd V8 Diesel - everyone faultless so far - the only issue I’ve had is an EGT sensor and a 3 month wait for an new sensor - but to be fair they are not made by LR and I was told it was a faulty batch which caused the issue - and the vehicle was still fully drivable.

Mines just kicked in these last couple of weeks.

You say it drive ok?

How long did you drive before you got it sorted?

JLR parts on hold due to the big hack so i may have to wait now.

Thanks.
Thumbs Up

In total, I drove mine for around 4 months with the fault and no issues, the parts were on back order and they replaced it twice as the second one was faulty. Both LR assist and the main agent said it was just a faulty batch of sensors, and it was ok to drive with it.

LR assist actually fitted the first sensor here in the yard - when that failed after a 30 minute run it was replaced the 2nd time by the main agent.

Mine went into limp once or twice after I had been parked with the engine off. I just turned it off and re started and it was fine. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
