Infotainment system starts to play up on mine when battery voltage is getting low.

I would have thought that too, but I literally had a new battery fitted a couple of weeks ago. And only when that was fitted did I realise how bad my old one was (the electric side steps would sometimes get stuck in or out, I just assumed they are flakey, but that went away and they are solid reliable since the replacement). I don’t know what DTCs are, but there’s no messages on the dashboard, if it relates to that?

Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are standardised codes used by a vehicle's onboard computer system to identify and report problems. When something goes wrong - like a misfire, sensor failure, or emissions issue etc etc - the system stores a code, some times it triggers a dash warning light but many minor issues do not.
