Sweden 2008 Range Rover Westminster 4.2 SC V8 Java Black
Logic 7 Amplifier battery drain

I have a 2008 Range Rover L322 4.2 Supercharged Westminster with the Logic7 audio system (amp part no. XQK500105).

I’ve been chasing a parasitic drain issue and finally tracked it down to the amplifier.

With fuse F9 (30A – Audio system amplifier) in place, the car draws around 0.8 A at rest.
When I remove fuse F9, the draw drops to ~0.4 A.
If I leave the fuse in but disconnect the main power connector on the amplifier (red + brown wires), the draw also drops back to ~0.4 A.
So the amplifier itself seems to be staying awake all the time, even when the car goes into sleep mode.

Has anyone experienced this with the Logic7 unit?

Is it always a failed amp that needs replacing, or could it be triggered by another module (MOST, Bluetooth, nav unit etc.) keeping it awake?

Has anyone successfully repaired these amps, or is replacement the only real solution?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Pretty sure we are in the same boat. About 90% positive my amp failed and I have a parasitic drain as well. Some mornings I have a low voltage warning and whenever I leave the car unlocked with the doors open it just constantly whirs with the fan on.
