Hi, just got a new key fob cover off Ali Express, supposedly zinc & leather.

Actually it's a clam sleeve that goes over the "lozenge" key fob, so if your rubber bits peeling or wearing off it goes over it so it's heavier and thicker than the original which I like.

Very substantial and quite heavy, quality is excellent and the leather inserts look well up to the job, time will tell how it holds up.

If it doesn't work as a key fob I can at least use it as a weapon.

Good luck. I tried some non-OEM fobs and they did not work well. The first set worked great inside the car, but wouldn't consistently lock and unlock the car remotely. The second set would do remote bits well, but inside the truck they had to be in the center console area for the truck to see them. Bought OEM keys and they work perfectly.
