Hi Pascal
Yes, will take and try to post some pics of mine. Need to tidy it up first...
Re. Checklist. In the hugely useful Wiki under the fullfat banner on the home page there are a couple of posts on that theme, one of them td6 specific.
Cheers

I am the new owner 😎

Renegotiated on price a little bit as a few more little things to sorted than advised. Merely trim related, moisture in tail lights and a small ding on the peteol cap . But it drove like brand new. Better than all the other L322’s I’ve looked at. A real genuine honest example. One billionaire owner who had it for 19 years and next was an another very wealthy man who had it for 18 months and took it to Polo matches. This is a car that’s been pampered all its life. A very very special car..

I popped to the pub last night and just as I parked up a 22 plate range pulled up in nearly the same colour and parked next to me and at the bar he asked if the L322 was mine and told me it was a proper range Rover and how nice it looked. Then wanted to spend ages talking about the Queens Land Rover lol

Congratulations!

My offside rear also condensated. Drilling a tiny hole in each lower corner of the unit's cover was advised and has proved effective. Nearside hasn't had that issue, yet...
Yes, trim can surprisingly easily come adrift, in mine particularly around foot level of passenger door areas.
Enjoy it!

You can get brand new rear lights off Ali Express for not a lot. I bought a pair and they're perfect. I suspect from the same factory as OE.

Are the wheels P38 ? they're the only think I would change if so. The originals really set off the car.

Beautiful by the way - well done !

Hey Jonny.

Thanks for the info, I will have a look on there.

The wheels were originally supplied with the car. And had a quick nose on auto trader and there are 8 other early L322’s with this wheel fitted so assume you could specify them.

I’ve just ordered a Land Rover brochure and price list for 2005 so will see if it’s in there and come back. Maybe someone else knows ?

And thanks for the compliment 👍 She’s a real beauty.

Those wheels were standard L322 fitment on SE models of that era 👍 Jonathan

Ah thanks for confirming Johnathon. I really like the small wheel look. Very subtle. Think I will keep them on, all for originality.

Agree - also, TD6 models can suffer from vibration when holding the car stationery on the brake at a junction etc with bigger wheels fitted. Jonathan

Thanks that’s good to know. I often drop into neutral or P if stationary for too long. From old habits from owning DSG’s and dual mass flywheels.

That’s an amazing looking standard car - I love it !
I ran a 2006 TD6 (albeit a while back !) & loved it - covered nearly 3000 miles around Europe in 18 days & it was superb.
Tried over the last couple of years to find a decent one but sadly failed.
It would be worth getting into the sills now to assess their condition.
Enjoy ! Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Thanks, she’s as good underneath as she is outside. But when I get a full inspection I will add that to the list thanks. All these things are good to know. I’m coming from a F01 7 series that I had for 8 years. Similar beast but very very different. I actually test drive a RR before I bought the 7 but was doing a lot more motorway miles back then.
