Hi all

My RR keeps emitting a short high pitched sound every few hours. It’s locked so theres nothing active that I can see. It doesn’t sound like the car alarm.

Best way to describe it is like a “wheeep” sound.

Anyone shed any light on this for me? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Could be air being vented from the suspension compressor or a leak as it does it's suspension leveling routines after shutdown. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

By chance, when you return to the vehicle, is your clock date/time reset? Also, when you unlock remotely is the behaviour 'normal', i.e. all doors unlock and door mirrors return to driving position, and no weird alarm sounds? 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Santorini Black with black interior and glass

I sometimes get a high'ish pitched electronic sound from my car, when I unlock the car.

I think it's the "Sounder" under the drivers side dash. I think that it must be the parking sensor sounder. Mine seemed to start after I had a bit of a leak caused by the sunroof drain being blocked, but could have just been coincidence.

Might be the same thing with yours and it's completely random, might not have it happen for weeks, then it happens.
