Hi All, i hope you can help I have a strange problem with the wipers on my car has recently appeared.
Wipers initially work OK, then after a while they seem to get a mind of their own and randomly stop mid stroke without self parking. Flick the stalk again and they will go again then stop again and keeps doing this until they come to a complete stop and nothing you do will make them go, this is not ideal when you are on a motorway in the rain! If however you pull up stop, turn the engine off and back on it clears again until next time.
I've not had a chance to connect up and see if there are any codes, but my train of thought is leading to bcm or whatever its called on these, (or does it have a specific wiper control module?) because it its seems t to be an electronic issue as it clears with an off/on
I will try and see if there are any codes tomorrow.
Has anybody seen this issue before or have any insights for me? All help much appreciated.

Wiper motor. Had same issue on mine a few years ago. Something to do with the park position sensor in the motor needing re soldering if I remember right.
