Car is coming upto 10 years old so 160k service is due

Oils and other parts such as rubber drive belts etc degrade over time even with little or no use. I would do a full service schedule. But as Dave says - find a good Indy specialist rather than a JLR dealer. |

Oil oxidises with time, so your diff / transfer / gearbox oils should definitely be changed irrespective of mileage covered.

Had mine done last year, split the job between my Indy who couldn't do the transfer case and gearbox. So was done by a 4x4 specialist and him, 1 year down the road and all is well.

Mine is coming up 10 years old 97000 miles full service history, indy since 4 years old. Gearbox oil and filter done 2 years ago.
