96000 miles / 72 months service - Main Dealer or Indy?

Hi all, my 2019 RR AB is due its 96000 miles / 72 months service at beginning of December (currently on 65,000 miles and only 4000 since last years service).

Looking at the fixed price servicing online it comes in at £1326.49. I am assuming it is this expensive because of having to replace all brake flexi hoses?

Is that really that big a job? Do they cost a lot each or would anybody know the part numbers so I can check myself?

I dont particularly mind paying this as it will maintain my full main dealer service history BUT is that really a big impact these days? Would now be a good time to move an Indy to get my routine servicing done?

I was thinking that so long as the online service history is updated that it wouldn't matter so much where it is serviced so long as it is serviced and recorded correctly?

I am waiting for a quote from a couple of different Indies but I am sure that they will beat JLR hands down but I am interested in peoples thoughts on this?

I only intend to keep this particular RR for another 12 months anyway so would it really make much difference to the overall value without full main dealer service history? _______________________________________________

Well having been very badly served by a series of different MDs (Incl: Stratstone Solihull, Matford Exeter, JLR Yeovil, and Inchcape Guildford) I wouldn't trust them to do the MoT let alone anything on the car. So a fully documented indie history would be very much more valuable to me. But of course the vast majority, particularly those that haven't had RRs previously, don't view things that way. Mike - MPx

I'm in the same situation but my l405 is a bit older than yours (2013). It has full main dealer service history but I am tempted to change to a good indy I know and has done work on the car. The only reason I would go to the md is to keep it going, the indy would be doing any work that needs doing
