Headunit cutting out? And lacking bass

Hey all, after a long drive to Leeds and back at the weekend I noticed a (yet another) new issue for the FF. Its a 2012 L322 with the Logic 7 unit. Every so often the sound would stop, the LED on the power/volume dial would flash then it the sound would come back in. It was around once every 45 minutes or so. This was with an AUX input with a bluetooth adapter that definitely seems to be OK

Also, the sound quality seems to have changed and there seems to be less bass. Before I start ripping things apart, any suggestions as to what might be going on?

Most likely water entering into the boot near the amplifier. Might be very small drops but still enough to harm stuff. Open the boot look at the cubby inside on the left and open that. You may find water droplets or something near there. 2014 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 Supercharged V8 L405 (STOLEN)
