fob woes.

Hi car not recognising fob batterys changed car alarm goes off even with main battery disconnected
side steps still work got in with manual key passenger door this happened 3 months ago then corrected its self
fob batteries from corner shop x2 packs
any help would be appreciated stuck in a car park with time limit Kind regards Mercede5

Suggest trying a Duracell battery from a trusted source and ensure the expiry date on the packet has a long duration. Jonathan
