Why bother? The speeds of interest are an easy mental conversion. Very quickly you won't even think about it.

If I’m not mistaken speedometer kph to mph on a Td6 can only be done by changing settings in the vehicle configuration file. |

It's the law here, speedo's must read in mph. Having said that, rather bizarrely, it's not an MOT (annual test) failure. But it is a road traffic offence to be caught driving a vehicle on the road which doesn't indicate the speed in mp/h. To the OP, I would imagine the needle moves at a linear rate whatever the scale, but don't know for sure. Lockwoods have replacement speedo face plates for the '02 on L322, see here: https://lockwoodinternational.co.uk/dials/...-dial-mph/ Look at the picture below and see where the mph numbers are and compare to your km/h face plate:
