On my car the lights are switched on and off by touching the lens. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

They are LED's so unlikley to have them fail, check if the vanity mirrors light up when you slide the mirror flap across, if not there's an unfused protected output suplying voltage to this circuit that includes map lights, vanity mirrors and some ambient lighting. Common fault is a trapped cable to the sun visor(s) which the BCM detects and shuts down the voltage until the fault is rectified - ask me how I know!!

I think the auto dimming function of the rear view mirror is also on the same circuit and they would have removed that, I'll check the diagram when I get a moment. L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division. |
