L405 - underbody splash/trim/shield fasteners & screws

Just prior to whipping off all the plastic bits underneath to reapply lanogard ready for Winter again.

Does anyone have a list of the various small fasteners used to hold all the plastic bits on?
I’m not talking about the steel cradles (which I’ve replaced) just the placcy bits.

I’d just like to get some in stock, before I start to remove the old rusty ones! Bow down Bow down V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!

These are the fittings you need

Otherwise it’s all bolts.

Yes, it’s the rusty screws/bolts I want to replace, these are just the clips for the wheelarch liners, I think? V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!

Hi All, in case this is useful to others, I finally found the correct item on Scuderia, which is a great reference site:-

The long plastic sill splash shields on the L405 are held on by 4 off galvanised M6x24mm (10mm hex) bolts (with captive washers), part number LR009266 these are also used in several other locations underneath on various other plastic bits and heat shields. I was not able to find these aftermarket, so £1.06 each at John Craddock.

Well worth getting the car up on ramps and replacing these (plus a dab of aluminium anti-seize).
Several on my not-that-old MY2017 were in a bit of a state and needed a 3/8” socket to get them out, fortunately only one needs drilling out/screw extractor job. Threads were OK, just the exposed heads rotting away. I’ll probably grease the new ones with Lanogard grease to protect them a bit better.

These can be a right PITA if left unchecked, and slow down your access to more important jobs. V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!

@Gremlin thank you! that's a huge help. I will take a look at mine. They really are making many modern vehicles out of Rich Tea biscuits aren't they?

Cheers
