Had this one for a few months now and 4k miles. 2016 VSE, seems to have been well looked after. First impressions are good. Coming from a newer Land Cruiser into the FFRR there are things which are better, and some which are not. The biggest improvement is the NVH and the additional power of the 4.4V8 vs the 200bhp-ish Land Cruiser. I was surprised that the seats seem a lot firmer and less comfy than the LC though. It's not my first LR product, or RR, this one was bought almost exactly 25 years earlier and selling it was one of my biggest motoring regrets.

Let's hope my L405 creates as many happy memories.
I'm already collecting a second set of wheels for some AT3s, and probably putting a roof rack on (although I'm finding there is much less available for the L405 than other LR/RR models when it comes to making them more expedition capable).
I'll also be taking it down for the Rallye Monte Carlo in January, which will be its first real long distance test. Should be fun.
