Pimp my range, wood steering wheel and trims

Hi guys,

I’m looking to upgrade my steering wheel to a walnut heated item. I’ve been looking for preowned ones but no avail and I found a couple of companies selling them and pimp my range seems to be a decent one.

anyone had any experience with this company and products or have a part wood steering wheel they no longer need

Also, my door pulls that are in the foundry silver are starting to look a little tatty and want to change them and thinking about going to a Walnut.

Any thoughts or advice would be great, thanks guys as I’m still fairly new to these cars.

2006 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Galway Green

This is a bit speculative, but I read somewhere (I think on here) that Pimp My Range were not shy of listing things on the website that were no longer manufactured, or on back order and not keen on refunds. So there's a bit of risk on these that they would take payment and then tell you it's 6-8 weeks backorder or that they're 'working with the supplier'.

I don't know that from first hand experience, just hearsay.

But following closely as I'd love to get some burr stuff for mine and pretend they were ABs! 2006 4.4V8 Epsom Green

Hi thanks for the reply. I checked their reviews and you are right. They seem a bit hit and miss with a few people reporting what you mentioned above.

Think I will steer well clear of them tbh.

I guess these kind of things are no longer available form the main dealer ? And if so they be an arm and a leg..

Scotland 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Fuji White

I'm not sure if this applies to these folks but some for sale it seems that only the leather part is heated.

And some on Ali Express not heated at all.

Genuine units are very rare in UK, especially Piano Black, I've been looking for one for years. Some in the US, but they're over a grand and who knows whether they work or not.

I had mine recoated with a textured matt finish, much nicer than standard yet very supple, but it still aint wood.

Thanks had a look at them and they don’t supply the bits I need.

Think I will just for some fresh foundry grey trims for now and keep my eye on e classifieds for OE ones.
