| Rear heated seat fault.. plug pin issue | |
Greetings All,
I wanted to share an issue regarding the rear seat heated seat.
Problem: Rear heated seat could not turn on. The LED for the heated seat flicked on and off very fast - all the time.
The Blower speed and heater functions worked. (2 zone climate control)
I removed the rear climate control unit, only to find a pin on the electrical connector bent and shorting against another pin!

Hope it helps someone.
Lesson: be careful when putting in electrical plugs, make sure they square on before pushing them in.
