Different engine but same gearbox: my understanding had been that the LR schedule was 10 years/100,000 miles whichever came first. I looked at the various sources, including the ZF website and my use (how much towing, higher speed etc) and decided to get the change done at 80,000 miles. The car felt better for it, smoother, though it did not make much difference to gearchange perception, I considered it fine beforehand.
I might go for 60,000 if I did a lot of heavy towing, challenging offroad eg lots of high revs in sand or lots of Autobahn use at top end of performance. Only Range Rovers since 1988
