United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

For me, it’s not about getting used to it, it how dangerous it is using a multi-menu touch screen while driving compared to the dials and buttons but looks like we have no choice going forward. MY23 D350 HSE

I can't say I've ever found it felt dangerous. No more than adjusting a radio 20 years ago, anyway. MY25 D350 AB

I agree with the general sentiment towards touch screens, and much prefer buttons, but I do also think the Range Rover system is very effective.

I'll give you an example - my kids will often fiddle with the air conditioning - especially if I have just collected them from a sports event. Next time I get in the car, I'll hear the rear left fans blasting away and I need to press the "sync" button to reset the fans to the same temp as the rest of the car. Previously, there was a "sync" button below the large screen, very easy to find, but still some way down out of sight. On the new car's screen, I just press the temp button and "sync" is just below it - it's almost at my steering wheel eye line.

I know from my other cars - I have a new 911 for example - which have way more buttons, but the screen interface is not quite as well thought through as Land Rover's. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

The more I drive the 25 SWB the more I like the screen only set up. It really is well done.

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Corris Grey

Perhaps better voice controls are the answer to keeping eyes on the road and hands on the wheel?
Surely in these days of AI this is totally possible? Whistle V6 Vogue - “Less is More” - less to go wrong!
