Engine swap guide & advice

Hi Guys I’m new to the forum and after some advice please

I purchased a Spares or repairs RR l322 3.6 tdv8 overfinch as a non starter suspected starter motor fault, had the car recovered and unfortunately after swapping out the starter motor the RR still wouldn’t start! Cut a long story short it had turbo failure 🤦‍♂️ love the thing so dispite being basic DIYer I order two new turbos and swapped the out, driver side nice and easy, passenger side a pig 😂 I cleaned out the intercooler, pipes plastic manifold and the RR now runs but sounds horrible 😬 tappy and smoking I think there is internal damage in the engine when the turbo failed or possible injector fault as the fresh new oil feels very thin and smoke stinks.

I now thinking in for a penny in for a pound and seriously thinking about attempting a engine swap, does anyone have a guide or a thread that someone else has done the same

Love the RR and would love to have it up and running

Thanks Jon

P.s if anyone is doing a turbo replacement on a 3.6 and need any advise I’m more than happy to help
