Coming up on a year of ownership and it's been great! (not trouble-free, but great none-the less)
I purchased my FF with a very specific purpose in mind; to tow my wife's rowing boat. This isn't a regular rowing boat (nor a regular wife for that matter  ). It's an Ocean Rowing boat, coz my wife decided that she's going to row 3,000miles across the Atlantic - on her own (starting this December).
The boat isn't huge (around 7.3m long), nor that heavy (about 400kg), so towing would be easy enough for the majority of 'regular' vehicles on the market, but I decided that we would need the most capable vehicle available to manoeuvre it from home to training sites etc. And like many forum members; I had a need to scratch that L322 itch... step forward my Gentle Giant - a 2011 4.4L TDV8 Vogue SE .
What can I say? I love my L322! It's been a real joy to see her in her element, whether that's powering the length of the country with the boat in tow; fording ocean estuaries; or driving over sandy beaches to launch into the North Sea. She has not missed a beat and has made the land-based trials of this adventure an absolute pleasure.

The boat has now been delivered to Essex where it will be loaded onto a container and shipped to the Canary Islands - ready for the start of The World's Toughest Row.

Especially in silver, but then again, I am biased as mine is silver too and I love it.
