I am not on here that often as my rr seems pretty fault free! More active on d2 site.

I have searched this but can't find the answer.

I have a lwb 17plate 4.4 with rse.

I would like to view a phone on the rse.

I have tried connecting straight to hdmi from the phone with usb3 to hdmi lead (anker). When connection is made and you are on the rse source screen a shaded out hdm1 or 2 depend on where its plugged image comes up but it can't be selected.

I have also tried it through a powered (anker) adaptor, ie USB on phone to adaptor, hdmi plugged into adaptor. Vehicle power run to the adaptor.

Again, on source page hdmi option comes up but is greyed out.

When either are disconnected the hdmi greyed out option disappears.

I have cleared phone usb cache, turned off android auto on a Samsung s24. No change.

Have also tried it on a 15prpmax and 16pro max.same response for all options with greyed out usb showing when it's selected. I am therefore presuming it's something I need to do with the vehicle?

Any help greatly appreciated.
