The superchargers on the 4.2 are a "sealed for life" unit - you know my thoughts on anything sealed for life...

I thought the 4.2L SC has a Supercharger from the Company Eaton and it is a Roots Supercharger.

You're not wrong, I thought the 4.2 used the twin screw type but as you say it uses the Roots "Blower" which is a relatively basic type. ![]() |

OK, to answer my own question, they are filled for "the life of the vehicle" but don't declare what the life of the vehicle is - typically though manufacturers suggest 100,000 miles.
