I thought the transponder programing was a dealer only thing and they had to have them done in germany as thats where they were supplied from? If the transponder codeing is easy why cant we just buy old keys of the bay and get them re-coded? [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Hi Dan, Do you mean as older as the system in our keys ? The buttons on this key seems to be in row ? |

Having a quick read of that site do we actually need the transponder chip cloning? If we buy new keys from dans site cant we just remove the old chip from the old key and put it in the new flip key case? So only thing we would need to sort would be the pairing for the board to control the alarm and door opening? [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

The way it reads, you can swap your old key internals to the new one, so I'm wondering if the reverse can be done. If so, I'd be tempted to order the flip key, plus the old style key (which I assume comes with no internals) and then use the new 'old' key 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

with 400 keys, you'll be able to loose a lot of them before buying another set |
