New sensor will need calibrating, it will put the susp inactive fault on if you have not got it already if you change it.

Indeed. The heights shown by RAC are all over the place on mine but it still works fine. To be honest I'm not entirely sure if RAC is showing the correct values, they are so far out. The values it is showing do appear in the raw ECU message it displays though, but they are a long way off. One will show +400mm and another -132mm which is of course not reflecting reality. It could just be they need a calibration but if that is the case it doesn't seem to be bothering the ECU because it rises and falls correctly. |

Took the FFRR out yesterday and was getting HDC Inactive, Air Suspension Inactive, ABS light and orange (!) light. This was the first time this had happened and when I had been working on the rear suspension I found one of the sensors was a bit suspect.

If your round my neck of the woods your welcome to use my RAC to calibrate the suspension. I'm on the Wirral so quite a way from you but the offer is there. If not maybe another member closer could help. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Buy both! Think the faultmate is the best but cost a fortune. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]
