Just thinking out loud for future reference:

When I do eventually change my car for a TDV8, chances are the next one will not have a tow bar and the dealer will want to charge me too much money to fit one.

Can the existing tow bar on my car be removed and fitted to the next car easily? Are the electrics already there waiting to take it in a plug 'n play fashion? if so, where does it all connect?
