kevin,

kevin, notice you come from Normandy, know the area well, but big complaint, seems all the car parks are anti ffrr even when the car is lowered to acess mode. especialyon the coast, think the french councils still think every body still drives a citroen 2 cv . Still love the area though

Yeah, the covered car parks are the ones to avoid. I prefer the open air ones....free parking! Very Happy

Hello FFRR Thumbs Up

Looks a bit quiet over here compared to disco3.co.uk......... Shocked

After 3 years of a D3 (and a few too many posts on that site), I've just bought a FFRR Stornoway TDV8 Vogue. Well someone has to help stimulate the economy after all the mess that feckwit Broon has made of it. Evil or Very Mad

I don't collect it for a couple of weeks but meantime there is a Buckingham Black Blue Vogue demonstrator sat outside which had 20 miles on it before I took it home from the Lakes. Razz

The only thing I wasn't sure about in making the change was whether or not the disco3 guys would disown me. Big Cry

I also heard that there was a natural progression model in-between the D3 and the FFRR called the Wannabe Rangie but it seems to be a bit of a girls car so I made the full leap to FFRR Laughing

Thus far, the RR seems like the more comfortable big sister version of the D3. I absolutely LOVE the seats and the engine. Whilst the design may be a few years older than the D3, I see a heck of a lot of my D3 in this motor.

Need to find out about some underbody protection and any other obvious necessities. No doubt Ken will be along soon to teach me how to shoot next....... Whistle

Welcome JMC. Nice to see you here, As you see I landed also here.

So guys I like to introduce myself:

My name is Daniel and I live in Switzerland near Basel. Had before a Disco3 HSE V8 (Desaster) and then a Disco 3 HSE TDV6 (a really nice car). So I get now a MY 05 Range Rover Vogue 4.4l. Love the sound of it. Gonna make it fit for serios offroading. Not a easy task as is ist hard to find the knowledge. Musst be in Switzerland the only one that takes his RR vor offroad. Even my Garage that ist 40 Years in the business and sells only LR hast trouble to find for me a skidplate that is to be used without a winch.

Hey all,

Just a quick hello - recently purchased a FFRR.

Looking forward to chatting and being part of the forum!

Hullo Martin, JMC and others - have landed here from the D3 site too after a work enforced absence (too much travelling and not much free time!) Big Cry

Now have a FFRR from my trusty D3. Very Happy

All seems a long way from our D3 day at the factory - and the off road course..

Anyway - will continue to mooch round in the shadows and try and catch up with what's been going on...

(Still got that nice 90 Martin?)

BMW i3 (fantastic little runabout)
Kioti NX6010 Tractor
Yamaha Big Bear ATV
And a whole heap of other kit...
