I think that big chunk of soft steel in the middle has something to do with drawing power from the engine does it not?? |

They are resonators to reduce the intake noise.... I'm sure there could be room for improvement, although the air cleaner has only just been replaced. I do fancy a performance one.

In fairness to the SC I think the AJV8 itself is VERY reliable and will last forever. Its the bits that are connected to it that can go wrong occasionally..... |

I have the original owners one, but really should take it off as the original number came through. But I just bought my initials from DVLA for £255 inc all fees - bargains. Couldnt find - DDUK24
