Hi all

sorry i have searched on here for this but could anyone tell me when the service intervals are on 4.4 v8 i am looking at one this weekend with 60k on dealer says he will service it if it needs it but not sure when this is and also what service this should be (eg change gearbox oil or adjustments belts etc that need doing around this)

When you start up your engine the miles left until the next service interval will be displayed on the dash for a few seconds.

LR don't change gearbox oil (the box is sealed for life according to them) and at 60k I would recommend having it done now

sorry to jump in here, but i have never seen this on my FF and was wondering if i am doing something wrong.

it has been about 11,000 miles since the last service. will the indicator come on when a service is needed?

it has a full L/R history so i presume all is well. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

I see you have a 2006 TD6 and it has a slightly different dash LCD display and it won't show it needs a service until it counts down from 1000 miles . In the three years I have had min I have never seen it and have blinked first and serviced it every year. 2008 MY Supercharged

thanks for reply Axle, so is it fair to presume that the car will let me know what it needs when it needs it?

i may do an oil and filter change anyway because i don't use the FF as a daily driver.
