how to remove dashtop ?

hi i am going to remove the dashtop to check the connections for my reversing camera, is there anything else to take off apart from the screws at the top ?

The ends have to come off as well.


(dash top - mentions ends have to come off)

thanks for the link , i think ill leave it alone for today.I am thinking the camera is plugged into the wrong input because when i do the test it is showing to be working.

i removed my dash last month to fit a VIM module. one thing i would say is be very carful when you are undoing the clips that secure the side air vents. the louvres are only held in place with a very small plastic stem and i snapped one of mine when i slipped with my screwdriver... Sad

i have since sorted it out but just to make you aware, i think everything else is fairly robust. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

Just a little tip, before you take the dash end covers off (wood or foundry parts) use a small flathead screwdriver and take tha airbag badges out of the A pillars and remove the torx screw. Then the A pillar covers just pull off. This will save you marking them when you put the end panels back on after refitting the dash top...

Trust me you'll be glad you took the extra five mins...
