I would prefer a dealer stamp in the book, and since this is my first service, I'd possibly prefer to use a main dealer to get a full check up. Mind you, in saying that, I might be giving the main dealer more credit than they deserve! Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

even if its new under warranty you dont have to use a dealer ....I prefer not to at £150 an hour versus £45 an hour, it makes a big difference

Inspection 1 is £199+vat
Inspection 2 is £299+vat

at my local Land Rover specialist, I just paid £238 for yearly service on my V8 petrol cheers

Just to stick my two peneth worth in... We are a small family run independent and i have to say the main of the FFRR's we look after that have been serviced all their lives by Maindealers are in a shocking state of disrepair when we first see them... Be that down to their high prices and the owners cutting costs or down to the quality of their work im not sure... If i had to take my pride and joy to have it serviced (or any other work for that matter) i would try to find an indie with passion for what they do! You get a much better job when the work is appreciated!!!

First service for me as the owner, not the car.
