dont know why it does it ,maybe something needs cleaning out....hopefully someone more knowledgeable will let us know.. ... - .- -.

I'm pretty sure I got the same on my old 1.9TDi audi, so it may just be a turbo diesel thing. The only thing thats got me thinking is I have only noticed it since egr blanking kit was fitted FFRR TD6 HSE

Worth checking the recirculation part of the circuit hasn't become disconnected if you think it has got louder. It's only an air pipe after all and if it has become disconnected or the pipe is split you're effectively venting to atmosphere which would make it louder. |

I'll take a look, any idea where I'll find it? Also, if it is venting incorrectly would it have any impact on the cars economy/performance? FFRR TD6 HSE

Afraid I'm not familiar with the layout of that engine - I have a V8 petrol. Don't think it would impact performance or economy. |
