Steering Tilt Mech

Ive got a issue witht he tilt function on the steering wheel

Ive had a look at the motor and it works and i can hear it spinning

Ive noticed the bar out of the motor looks like it has rounded out the thread that controls the wheels movement

Can u replace the thread section ie Buy a new one or has anyone else got another fix, ive read somewhere that someone has used a star driver insert to get a good fitment

any help would be great
thanks
neil

yeah i went threw these posts prior to posting up and looked at the usa info on it

Im gonna look into getting a new piece machined up if a star piece doesnt fix it, im sure its just a case that the thread bar has rounded out
