Need to change the tyres on the 2003 vogue V8 and have a choice between Dunlop GrandTrek ST8000's and Toyo Proxes ST

Anyone got any experience of either? I want a fairly quiet road tyre but one that can get along in the slippy stuff if it goes white and fluffy again this winter. Cant be bothered with a separate set of wheels and tyres (have 5 x 19" with tyres for sales if anyone is interested) so needs to be an all terrain type.

I'm up for tyres as well and the Toyos are being quoted at £100 cheaper per corner  Regards

Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

I had toyo proxes on a set of 22s on a prevoius FFRR, they were great all year round, even in 12" of snow, steep hills on moorland tracks on the yorkshire moors when shooting one winter. Recommended. 2003 Vogue TD6 - Adriatic Blue - 2010 Facelift & 2010 20" wheels

Thers a poll on this forum that relates to this very question. I believe from memory the Hankook Ventus Tyre was the preferred choice. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I've just fitted two Toyo Proxes ST on the rear of the SC and will be replacing the front Conti's very soon with Toyos as well - no complaints, looks good, is quiet and so far so good grip wise

Oh, and they were also £100 per tyre cheaper than the Continentals  Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....
