Replacing a gearbox on any car is going to be expensive, the difference is that it will probably be prohibitively expensive compared to the value of the car.

This is a very valid point mate, as you say it is subjective to an individual. In my eyes you should never spent money on anything that i can not afford to run. Buying a FFRR for £30 grand is nice but you have to bear in mind that if you go to a dealer you will be charged £100+ an hour for nothing, a service will cost you around £600; etc.. Can you afford that? Luckily mine has the royal service (VIP package as they refer to it here in the UK) so I do not have to pay for my visits to the dealer, which is handy |

hmm well i baught mine when it was about a year old which equates to about 25% of yearly earnings , BUT i do all my own servicing / maintenance work myself im in NO way being tight fisted its just that i can do a better job than the stealer can do and i know its done right onto no6 Range Rover

now are you talking gross or net and are you including bonus's, dividend payments, any early pension payments, income from other sources(whether legal or not) interest on savings(not much at the mo) ETC ETC ETC the list goes on!
