Hot Feet!

Guys,

I've looked at all the posts about Final Stage Resistor, and I've interrogated the wiki! I don't think it's the FSR, on the basis that fan speeds seem to be fine, it's just I tend to get hot air on my feet all the time. I can fix it by using the centre and high level buttons on the aircon, so effectively locking out the footwell heating.

Also the face level vents don't seem to usually come on, unless I force them by manually selecting them. If it is the FSR then great, I'll buy one on the forum as offered now!

Looking forward to some great expert advice!

Cheers,

If the FSR is at fault then the fans either don't run or run at a speed and time that suits them...

I would be inclined to think that something is amiss with the blend motor, although if you can manually select the face vents it sounds like this is also functioning. Could be that a sensor in the car is sending a bad signal to the control unit and the car is thinking that you need to warm up your chilly toes exclusively?
