Another bluetooth question

Can someone tell me what the latest is regarding Blackberry bluetooth pairing with RR?

Traded 2006 LR3 HSE 3 months ago for 2011 RR LUX.

Blackberry 9700 stopped working with LR3 about 1 month before trade (after performing flawlessly for about 1 1/2 years). Dealer blamed problem on Blackberry OS upgrade (OS5 to OS6) 1 month prior to failure.

Same phone (same OS6) has worked with RR for last 3 months, until today. Working this morning and not this afternoon. No new software installed, no OS updates on phone , I have not tried to pair with other devices like playbook, .....just stopped working!

Of course on a Friday evening before Christmas, can't even vent at Dealer Wink

I imagine the answer is going to be....it must be the phone, but it seems to be a bit of a stretch this time.

I gather from reading earlier posts that there is some sort of vehicle phone/bluetooth module that could be replaced. Does this apply to 2011 MY?

Are there any service bulletins on this issue?

Thanks for any help.

Have a look at your bluetooth module (assuming it is still in the back lefthand side of the car). It sits on top and in the "older" models water damage just killed them (mine as well). I seems a bit strange though that you had it on both cars. Have you tried re-pairing ? Have you tried other phones ? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
