How do I remove the headrests without taking the seat apart? They're electric headrest.

Just raise up the headrest enough to get your hand underneath and give it a good "thump" upwards Bsically the end of each stem is a rounded plastic component that locates into a plastic "claw" on the headrest motor.

I extended the headrest to maximum, then gave it the prescribed 'THUMP' several times and it popped out. Seat covers fitted , job sorted Cheers Andy |

With LR seat covers there is no need to remove the headrest.
