| it must be. I got an email saying my VIN was in the recall range for inspection but when I got to the dealer, they said that they were going to do an immediate swap without inspection. |

@MJD you are correct.
I have heard from 3L owners that it is a great engine, fast and responsive enough and good economy (handling may be slightly better as no large 4.4L lump up front to steer.) ... |

Ive just taken my Nov 2015 L405 into LR MD to have this looked at. They told me anything before 2016 is an automatic swap for new. 2016 onwards, they inspect and change if necessary.
