yes, when I installed the Webasto unit I also added the remote box. When I use the remote the Faultmate shows me the Webasto unit receives the signal from the box but nothing happens.

Update!

I could fix my FAULTMATE so I can write setting back to the instrument cluster. I enabled the park heater but still can't use it.

good idea, but this won't work without having the park heater connected to the car network. The remote needs that as well as the touchscreen timer.
