Whilst my car was in for an MOT at the main dealer today they cleared the fault for me free of charge.

Do you need one with a hard drive, or can you just load the software onto an existing laptop, like you can with BMW stuff ? |

No, I didn't get it sorted. I tried another dealer and the service manager took it home overnight up the M1 to Milton Keynes.
He reported it drove perfectly... and the play in the drive train was ... |

Also the heated front and rear screens and the heated steering wheel are not working, which isn't great with the current cold snap.
The park pre heat system does work though!
