In changing the alternator I've noticed the push fit fitting on the bottom of the expansion bottle is weeping slightly so that's another possible source.

Still need to investigate a fix.

There's also a connector in the tank that causes issues. I just opened it up and cut the connector out soldered and heat shrunk the wires.

Wouldn't that control whether it's hot or cold air? Getting hot air but it wasn't coming out of any of the upper vents.
