| Thanks for your reply, I now need to change the engine loom due to the melted wires up to the ecu I just hope the ecu is still ok ?, I was going to replace the stat housing with the cooler running one ... |

| Fond the problem, the wires from thermostat housing sensor have melted up to the ECU I believe its not uncommon for this to happen on these BMW M62 engines, no wonder I could not connect to ecu with m ... |
