Yes, on my 2017 at least a long press on the reduce button turns it into standard cruise. Need to do it every time you start using cruise though. |

Indeed. Best thing about it is that it can be disabled with long press on the reduce distance button.
Unless you like being driven by something that behaves like a bad learner driver of course.. |

I get fed up of the ACC. I always push and hold the reduce distance button & revert the system to standard cruise. Wish I could lock it out permanently with a CCF setting. |

The trims run from front to rear either side of the sunroof glass and can be levered out with a plastic trim removal tool. (This is where you can fit the optional roof rails)
