once you stick the 2009/10 disc in then you cant re-enable the nav on the go function, the new firmware takes care of that...

i've just put the 2011/12 disc in mine and it worked ok..there seems to be subtle colour changes but this was only observed on a short journey ...

Interesting. Presumably you have done the 2009/10 ...

I have the same thing as well, quite irritating!

In my case however, it is more than a little white noise; it almost completely blocks out the radio signal. Could this be the problem you mentioned ...

Sounds like it is the FBH and is relatively 'normal'.

Laughing Bl**dy hope not!! Don't fancy a new gearbox!

With stealers at the moment for new o/s cv joint gaiter, which has chucked out all it's grease. Should be fixed tomorrow.
