I am wondering could this fault be related to a dodgy Transfer Box High/ Low Range Motor / and is there any way to bypass this motor and keep the car in high range with out it .... Question

I'm out of ideas I'm afraid, your best bet may be to call a specialist or a dealer service dept. Have you got any numbers/ a copy of LRO for example?

I am sure I'll find some thanks for the advise ...

yes they do, i have been speaking wit a chap at blackbox, they inport them, beware where you buy them as most of them are sent from cyprus and you will end up paying duty on it...

Does it make any difference if you select Neutral and switch it between Low and High range a few times?
