Thats because they probably didn't exist but testers feel the need to put a few down , especially if they testing station is also a garage.

Well thats £80 spent today and the two corroded weather strips on the front doors replaced. Wonder how long they will last ?

found two used ones for the front so they will match the back !!. Incidentally , the rears are perfect yet the two front ones are awful. Wonder why that is ?

I'll bet you've trapped something between the latch and the locking mechanism. I did it once with a very thin piece of card and it took some very heavy wrenching to open it.
