Surely a half worn rear with 4-5mm of tread left, and new fronts with 8mm won't cause problems? The rolling diameter difference must be minimal, something like 0.3%

Hi Dan,
The screws (all 12 of them) that secure the lid onto the air-boxes have all corroded, so I'll replace before they get that bad I can't unscrew them.
Can you price me up some please?
