I did read that this may reset all sorts of errors including suspension height errors. It does make more sense that it is more limited as your reply says, maybe just the one fault.

How is a steering wheel reset carried out. Is it 3 full turns right to left and back again? What does this actually reset?

The unfortunate thing with getting the rear index means that after checking the fuse, I am getting 12v to it meaning the compressor must be powered but knackered
