I think you're already along the right lines, i.e. air leak somewhere. A previous D3 I owned had the same fault and symptoms caused by a pin hole in the reservoir (which I found almost by accident). ... |

Try a reset - remove the battery and then connect +ve to -ve on the car. Give it 5 mins or so after you’ve disconnected the battery before you do it. |

Go into live values, full list, then driver seat climate (something along those lines), then select drivers/passenger seat cushions. |

Just done it on my 3.6 TDV8 due to squeaking and discovered it's the power steering pump...
Not a bad job on the 3.6, getting the belt back on was a bit of a pig mind. |

Hi - get an IID tool on it to check fault code and then monitor live temp of back and cushion.
Run up the back only Peltier loose and check operation. The fan doesn't run continuously.
